In support of the Security Forces World Wide Symposium, FTS developed a computer based visualization that helps personnel understand the principles of Integrated Base Defense as applied to a systems effectiveness assessment of an airbase.  The software adopts a plug and play approach, allowing users to participate in the placement of personnel, sensors and response systems.  The plug and play approach demonstrated how some effects have a better impact than others.  Each item was costed, allowing users to view results associated with budgetary constraints.
