One of FTS experts is the former chairman of the NATO Army Armament subgroup for Chemical and Biological Equipment. He was also responsible for the creation of the Royal Air Force's Survive to Operate Center, which serves as the RAF's centralized Force Protection organization. FTS has participated on Air Force Vulnerability Assessment Teams and understands USAF Readiness operations and procedures. FTS has the capability to model chemical and biological events using the Hazard Prediction & Assessment Capability (HPAC) which simulates the transport/dispersion of hazardous materials through the atmosphere. The model provides "estimates" of effects on the physical environment (e.g., surface deposition, airborne concentration) and resultant effects of that environment on exposed population. |
